CURRENT FUNDRAISING PROJECTS
Here, you can find information about the fundraising projects that AIESEC UGA's Fundraising Team is working on. Make sure that you are aware of your specific individual responsibilities for each Fundraising Event/Activity.
Current Fundraising Projects:
11/16/2009 UPDATE:
Here are suggestions for how to arrange Sales/Fundraising meetings.
10/28/2009 UPDATE:
I've updated the Winter Conference Sponsorship Proposal since we now know the Delegate Fee for Winter Conference. Also, remember to mention to companies that any sponsorship is tax-deductible, AS LONG AS THEY MAKE THE CHECK OUT TO "AIESEC US", NOT "AIESEC UGA"!!!
Again, Branson and Tommy- you guys should feel free to alter the proposal based on the companies you are approaching. Just let me know what the proposal looks like before you actually use it.
10/23/2009 UPDATE:
Hey guys, I've created a Winter Conference Sponsorship Proposal for small sponsorships ($20-$100). I put my contact information at the bottom, but you guys can change it to your information when you take it.
Branson and Tommy, if you guys want to start talking to businesses, you can use the Winter Conference Sponsorship Proposal, but we'll have to edit the "Sponsorship Benefits" section- since you guys will be having formal meetings and trying to get large sponsorships, the benefits will obviously have to be larger, too. Feel free to edit the "Benefits" section as you wish- just let me know what you have included before actually taking it to businesses since we will be responsible for upholding our end of the sponsorship!
Stefanie, I've already talked to you...let me know if you have any other questions.
Randy, do you want to work with Stefanie on getting money from small businesses? Basically, what she and I are doing is going to small businesses in Athens with the Winter Conference Sponsorship Proposal and trying to get $20-$100 from each of them. We will be going sometime next week; you should come with us if you can.
DEADLINES: I will be creating a Fundraising Checklist/Calendar Google Doc, but all of you should be familiar with the deadlines from Tuesday's meeting. Basically, have 5 leads/contacts by next Tuesday.
PRINTING: When we go to businesses, we want to have colored ink, etc. So, you can print materials and get reimbursed. Please read the "Budget Section" of this website so that your reimbursement is ensured!

Stefanie will be coordinating the mass fundraising (from small businesses). Please e-mail your list of 10 small businesses and 10 individuals (from last week) to aiesecatgeorgia@gmail.com by SUNDAY at 9PM so that I can send it to Stefanie.
At Tuesday's (10/13) meeting, we discussed two approaches to fundraising. Most of you will be doing the case-by-case fundraising. To do this, follow these steps:
CASE BY CASE
· Using one of 10 large businesses (that you found last week)/other leads as starting point, go through “sales process” to fundraise case-by-case.
o Lead generation
o Cold/Warm Call- TRY TO SET UP MEETING
o Follow-up
o Meeting(s)
o Design “contract” with terms-
§ How much money they’ll give
§ How we will advertise for them (website, posters/banners at events/recruitment drives)
o Sign contract
*For more helpful sales tools, check out the "Sales Materials."

By the General Meeting on Tuesday 10/13/2009, each Fundraising Team Member must have:
- A list of 10 small businesses and their contact information (including key people, mailing address, e-mail, phone #).
- A list of 10 bigger businesses and their contact information (including key people, mailing address, e-mail, phone #). Also include any procedures they have for sponsorships.
- A list of 10 individual people that you would be willing to ask to contribute money to AIESEC UGA. Also include their mailing addresses.
