BD TEAM STRUCTURE & ROLE DESCRIPTIONS

Be sure to familiarize yourself with this page so that you are aware of your responsibilities and expectations as a BD Team Member.

ROLE DESCRIPTIONS:

Sales Team-

Sales Team Members:

  • General responsibilities- include individually going through the Sales Process in order to sign as many contracts as possible with companies. *Use SALES MATERIALS in order to learn more about the Sales Process and Regulations.*
  • Specific responsibilities- send CALENDAR UPDATES to Sales Director; send OUTPUT FORMS to Sales Director no later than 10 days after each call/meeting. 
  • Meet with the VP BD before actually signing any contracts!
  • E-mail additional questions to aiesecatgeorgia@gmail.com with subject: BD_Sales_(your name). *See QUESTIONS for more info*
  • Submit Budget Request Form before making purchases. *See BUDGET for more info*
  • An additional note: Although you will be working individually in order to sign contracts, you may (and should!) work with other Sales Team Members in order to prepare pitches and even go to meetings with companies. All Sales Team Members' contact info can be found here.
  • The GOAL for Sales Team Members is to raise 1 TN (sign one contract) by November 30, 2009. 

Sales Director:

  • Responsibilities of the Sales Director include all responsibilities of a Sales Team Member.
  • Receive all CALENDAR UPDATES and OUTPUT FORMS from Sales Team Members and either directly forward them to the VP BD at aiesecatgeorgia@gmail.com OR send ALL updates/forms to VP BD in a weekly update by every Monday at 9:00AM.
  • Create/Maintain the Sales Team Google Calendar with the CALENDAR UPDATES received from Sales Team Members. The Calendar must be updated at least once every week by Monday at 9:00AM.
  • Create/Maintain the Sales Team Tracker (using a Google Doc) with information received from the CALENDAR UPDATES and OUTPUT FORMS. The Tracker must be updated at least once every week by Monday at 9:00AM.
  • The Sales Director will facilitate Sales Team discussions at the AIESEC General Meetings. The Team should discuss individual updates and output as well as share ideas of how to improve sales techniques. 

Fundraising Team-

Fundraising Team Members:

  • General responsibilities include participating in Fundraising Events/Activities.
  • Specific responsibilities will vary based on the nature of the Fundraising Event/Activity. Some Fundraising Activities may be individually-based, while others are conducted as a team.Team members are required to be aware of their specific responsibilities for each Fundraising Event/Activity.
  • Fundraising Team Members should also actively participate in generating new ideas for fundraising events/activities.
  • E-mail additional questions either to the Fundraising Director (bransonsimmons@gmail.com) or to the VP BD (aiesecatgeorgia@gmail.com). *See QUESTIONS for more info.*

Fundraising Director:

  • Responsibilities include organizing and delegating fundraising events and activities.
  • For each fundraising event/activity, the goals and procedures related to the project must be clearly outlined, and Fundraising Team Members must be made aware of their specific responsibilities. 
  • Send CALENDAR UPDATES to aiesecatgeorgia@gmail.com with timelines for each Fundraising project.
  • Create/Maintain the Fundraising Team Google Calendar with the CALENDAR UPDATES. The Calendar must be updated at least once every week by Monday at 9:00AM.
  • Send an OUTPUT FORM for each Fundraising project no later than 10 days after the completion of the project to aiesecatgeorgia@gmail.com.

  • The Fundraising Director will facilitate Fundraising Team discussions at the AIESEC General Meetings.
